The Name

You may be wondering where in the world we thought up the name for our site. Here's the honest truth: I named it after my best friend, my dog. For the past 11 years (since 1st grade) I have been blessed to live aside the sweetest, smelliest, sassiest, and most impatient girl I have ever met. And she walks on four legs. No, her name is not Cora and Bella, her real name was Corabelle. We don't know where she got her name, as a matter of fact we don't even know where she's from. She was dumped in a forest with her mother and other siblings, when a sweet farm lady picked em' up and listed them on petfinder as German Wirehaired Pointers. If you know anything about dogs, my dog is not a German Wirehaired Pointer. So, my dad, who was a showdog trainer and owner, drove about 12 hours to find that his potential show dog was a mutt. Yes, a mutt. After the confusion, he handed over the $50 and brought home my new best friend in the back of his SUV. You'll be seeing a lot of her around here, even after she is gone (lets not talk about that now). So, if you ever come to an end of a reading and stop to ask yourself who is this dog?!, just think of her as the Cara Delevingne of dogs. She is The Queen.
